Walton County Tourism celebrates National Travel and Tourism Week May 4-10 |
WALTON COUNTY, Fla. – April 22 – Walton County Tourism is celebrating National Travel and Tourism Week May 4 – 10 with informative events and activities highlighting how tourism supports the Walton County economy and way of life. Throughout the week the Visitor Information Center staff will be giving away free souvenirs to visitors at the center, located at the corner of U.S. Highways 331 and 98. WCT is proud to sponsor the Walton Area Chamber of Commerce's monthly Power of Business Luncheon, featuring a dynamic presentation titled From Data to Decisions: The AI Marketing Revolution by Dave Maher, chief digital officer at Zehnder Communications. Join us Wednesday, May 7, from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. in the Linkside Ballroom at the Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort. WCT is also hosting an open house Thursday, May 8 from 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at the Visitor Information Center, located on the corner of U.S. Highways 331 and 98. On Saturday, May 10, from 8 – 10 a.m., Keep Walton County Beautiful Beach Cleanups will be held at the Dune Allen Regional Beach Access and Grady Brown Park in Freeport.
