Walton Area Chamber Announces First Responders Appreciation Bash Honoring Local Heroes
Santa Rosa Beach, FL - The Walton Area Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Small Business Council, is proud to announce the inaugural First Responders Appreciation Bash, a community event dedicated to celebrating the courageous men and women who serve and protect us every day.
The event will take place on Friday, May 9, 2025, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at North Beach Social, West Lawn. This family-friendly gathering will offer an afternoon of food, entertainment, and heartfelt recognition, all at no cost to first responders and their families. It’s a meaningful opportunity for the community to express its gratitude to those who keep us safe.
First responders and their families will enjoy a delicious spread featuring smoked pulled pork, a crawfish boil, and hot dogs, generously provided by North Beach Social. Live entertainment will ensure a festive atmosphere, and children can enjoy face painting and games throughout the afternoon. Raffle giveaways will be held exclusively for first responders.
“We are so excited to launch this new event honoring the everyday heroes of Walton County,” said Gabby Hamilton, Director of Operations at the Walton Area Chamber. “This is our way of giving back to the men and women who put their lives on the line for us, and to show them how much they are truly valued.”
