Voter Services Representatives (Full-time Position)
Location(s): Floating/Flexible (2 locations-DeFuniak Springs and Santa Rosa Beach)

Summary:
The Voter Services Representative (VSR) primarily performs the duties of processing data related to voter registration. This includes applications for new registration, updates to existing records, and list maintenance processes. A VSR also performs other tasks involving various services including, but not limited to, processing mail ballots, petitions, and campaign-related forms and fees. During election seasons, a VSR assists with election activities, including preparation, training, testing, polling place operations, setup, reconciliation, recounts, audits, and more. At times, this position requires long hours in addition to the regular work times and outside of normal office hours and normal working days.

Education, Experience, and Abilities:
Requires high school diploma, or equivalent.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Experience working with the public in a professional, customer service team environment or public sector/government office in a role with direct customer contact is preferred.
Must have knowledge of basic procedures and principles of mathematics, business English, general office duties, operation of computer, software, document imaging, printer, typewriter, facsimile, photocopier, calculator and other standard business machines.
The ability to type and enter data into software accurately and efficiently.
Experience and proficiency using Microsoft Office software, such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is preferred.
Experience with searching public record databases is preferred.
Experience with physical and cyber security practices is preferred.
An equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job may be substituted.

Hourly Rate: $17.85 - $21.00
