What You’ll Do
- Prepare individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns of varying complexity
- Calculate and prepare quarterly and year-end tax estimates
- Advise clients on tax strategies and planning to minimize liabilities
- Research tax codes and regulations to ensure compliance and support tax positions
- Draft responses to IRS and state notices for clients
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing consulting and industry-specific expertise
- Assist with client accounting services, including financial statement preparation, as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and federal/state tax codes
- Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks and Microsoft 365 experience a plus)
- Excellent communication, technical, and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Willingness to work overtime during peak seasons and as needed
