The Walton County Sheriff's Office’s School Resource Division would like to invite the public to the 2026 Back to School Splash Bash. This community event was organized as a way for us to prepare our local kiddos with a fun day before going back to school. During Splash Bash we give away hundreds of free backpacks while providing water slides, food/drinks and more to kick off the upcoming school year. To help with this event, we ask for support from the surrounding community to join us with engaging static displays, handouts, donations or whatever you can imagine that would help our families. Splash Bash will be August 1st from 3pm-6pm at WeeCare Park, 512 Walton Road, Defuniak Springs, FL. In past years we have attracted around 1000 attendees, however we expect a much bigger event this year with even more community vendors and partners.
